Uttarakhand: Bad weather will not become a hindrance in studies, education department has issued new guidelines across the state

Amid the forecast of heavy rains in Uttarakhand, the Education Department has issued guidelines to the officials across the state to take some necessary steps. In this episode, from holidays in schools to giving online classes, the officers have been asked to take as much action as possible. Director General of Education Banshidhar Tiwari has issued an order for that.

Since the onset of monsoon, a series of heavy rains is visible across the state. The Meteorological Department in the state is also forecasting heavy rains in many districts. Therefore, the Education Department has decided to take some necessary steps for the safety of the students in the schools and for this the Director General of Education Banshidhar Tiwari has also issued guidelines to the education officers across the state.

SDM-DBEO will be able to take the decision of school holidays

In the guidelines related to taking necessary steps in the Education Department, the Deputy District Magistrate and the Development Block Education Officer have been asked to review the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department and take a decision for holiday in schools in the development block or district. In this, the Chief Education Officer at his level will be able to order for the holiday of the schools after the approval of the District Officer.

Education of children affected by disaster will be online

Rivers and drains are also in spate due to heavy rains during monsoon, in view of the condition of river drains while reaching the school of children, such children who are at risk of river drains or landslides on their way home, they are given online education facility. Also asked to be given. Instructions have been given not to compulsorily come to schools for such children.

There will be no education in dilapidated schools

Apart from this, instructions have also been given not to teach children in schools which are in dilapidated condition. It has also been asked to ensure security arrangements in schools with dilapidated buildings, landslides near schools and dilapidated roofs. It has been asked not to conduct teaching in such classes. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to give the contact numbers of the parents by the schools, so that whatever decision is taken, information can be given to the parents.

Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A heart wrenching incident has come to light from Vikasnagar in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Where a young man killed his own mother and fled from the spot. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
