Madhya Pradesh: Patwari was taking a bribe of 5 thousand, when the Lokayukta team reached, the note was chewed, the team took it to the hospital and made it spit out

A similar case has come to light from Katni in Madhya Pradesh where a Patwari was taking a bribe of five thousand rupees. But by then the team of Lokayukta reached and he started chewing the note. Actually, this whole incident is from Katni district of Madhya Pradesh. According to the information, the matter is related to the Bilhari of Katni. Patwari Gajendra Singh posted here had demanded a bribe from a person named Chandan Lodhi to get some land work done. After this, that person complained about this to the Jabalpur Lokayukta. The Lokayukta formed a team and directed to catch the Patwari red-handed. On the other side, Gajendra Singh was called for bribe, then the team of Lokayukta also reached from behind.

Notes chewed, swallowed

As soon as the Patwari took Rs 5,000 from the man, the Lokayukta team reached there and caught him red-handed. As soon as the Lokayukta’s team caught the Patwari taking the bribe, he immediately started putting the note in his mouth and chewed it and swallowed it. It was told that Patwari chewed nine 500 notes and swallowed them inside. Lokayukta’s team ran to the hospital with him and tried to get the note pieces out there. Some note pieces were removed from his mouth while some remained.

Order to investigate the matter

Patwari’s video has surfaced from the hospital itself, in which he is seen spitting out the notes. At present, the Lokayukta has registered the case in view of the whole incident. Till now the notes given in bribe have not been recovered, because they were all torn. It was told that when an officer of the Lokayukta team tried to take money out of his mouth when he was chewing the notes, the Patwari had bitten off the officer’s finger. An inquiry has been ordered into the matter. Soon action will be taken on Patwari.
