One degree college will open in every block of Uttarakhand, one yoga teacher will be appointed in all degree colleges
Higher Education Minister Dhansingh Rawat while participating in the anniversary program of Kumaon’s biggest MBPG College in Haldwani said that the state government is doing better work in higher education under new education. He said that the state government has set a target of opening one degree college in every block of the state. On which work has been started. Higher Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that one Yoga teacher will be appointed in all the degree colleges of the state. Apart from this, 20 colleges of the state are being made model colleges. Those who are being equipped with modern library, smart class apart from furniture and other arrangements by giving ₹ 20 crores. Apart from this, studies for 180 days have been made compulsory in all degree colleges of the state. Along with this, it has also been decided to conduct the student union elections in the month of September. He said that student union elections will be held in the entire state on the same day.
Higher Education Minister Dhansingh Rawat said that in the last financial year ₹ 700 was spent in the field of higher education. In which college buildings, professors were appointed. He said that Uttarakhand is the first state in the country where the National Education Policy has been implemented. The state government is continuously doing better work in the field of higher education. Whose benefits are being given to the youth of Uttarakhand.
