This five-and-a-half-year-old child from Devbhoomi surprised everyone, became a chess player and became famous in the world!

Five-and-a-half-year-old Tejas Tiwari, a student of UKG class at Dikshant School, has become the youngest chess player in the world. International Chess Federation has declared him as the youngest player. Also, he has got 1149th rating in the list of International Chess Federation (FIDE) released in June. The federation has also released its information on the internet media page.

Father was also a chess player

Tejas Tiwari is a resident of Subhash Nagar area of Haldwani. His father Sharad Tiwari is a social worker and mother Indu Tiwari is a homemaker. His father told that he had received an email from FIDE. His father has also been a chess player of Kumaon University.

Here, the convocation school management told that the first self held recently in Rudrapur. In the Dheeraj Singh Raghuvanshi Open FIDE rated chess tournament, Tejas has achieved FIDE rating with four draws and two wins. He has so far represented Devbhoomi Uttarakhand in five national chess championships.

Talent is not dependent on any age

School director Samit Tikku has expressed happiness over the achievement of student Tejas. It is said that talent is not dependent on any age. School Principal Prableen Saluja Verma, Shweta Pandey, Anjana Satwal, Kishan Tiwari, Neeraj Sah, Director Samit Tikku, Academic Director Smriti Tikku have congratulated them.
