BJP State Spokesperson Bipin Kainthola has sought resignation of Congress State President Mahra on the grounds of morality, terming the controversial statement of Mahara as low-level politics. Accusing Mahara and the Congress party, Kainthola said, today while doing politics of appeasement, their leaders have started doing politics of lower rung. Now Mahara is making indecent remarks on the people of a region living in his own state, which shows his hatred and mindset that divides the society. He said, Congress has already been working on the policy of dividing the society and baking its political bread. And even today the Congress party is carrying forward its same thinking.
Kainthola said that the Congress state president, troubled by the factionalism of his party’s leaders and workers and seeing the increasing mass base of the BJP, has become so disillusioned that Arngal is making more derogatory statements. This statement of the Congress President is an attempt to tarnish the reputation of Uttarakhand in the whole world. Today, where the state is moving towards development at a quadruple pace day and night, the same Mahara is not lagging behind in abusing the residents of one area of his state. The people of the world are convinced of his honesty, bravery and methodology. But the mentality of the Congress President is trying to tarnish the image of the state by cursing his own people.
Kainthola said that if there is some morality left in Mahara, then he should resign from his post, otherwise the Congress leadership should show the way out to such a president who divides the society. He said that if the Congress still does not warn, then the people of Uttarakhand will never forgive them.
