Customers liked Maruti Suzuki’s Monthly Subscription Plan, the company is doing very well

Three years ago, Maruti Suzuki launched the Subscribe program in the domestic market, which enabled customers to drive their car on a monthly membership basis. Earlier, such subscription/finance models were earlier seen only for expensive luxury cars. But now it seems that such a scheme has worked for Maruti Suzuki as well. Under this plan, instead of buying any car at its ex-showroom price, getting RTO and insurance, the customer can enter into an agreement with Maruti to become the owner of the car of his choice by taking a monthly membership like any other service. The monthly membership plan is available in 25 cities of the country and has seen tremendous growth in the last one year.

According to Maruti Suzuki, the subscribe program saw a growth of 292 percent in FY 22-23. On the other hand, if we talk about its ownership, then the customer who drives a Maruti Suzuki car under the subscription model has to pay only a monthly charge. Apart from this, not a penny more. To ensure that the customer does not face any hassle, the company takes care of RTO expenses, first year insurance and subsequent renewals as well as vehicle maintenance and roadside assistance. However, there are some limitations on the use of the subscribed car, in which the customer has to choose a plan for 1-5 years. Also, as per the agreement, the car cannot be driven for more than 10,000 km or 25,000 km in a year.

Currently, Maruti Suzuki is offering subscription services on a large range of its cars. This includes Celerio, WagonR, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga and Brezza SUVs. The newly launched Frontx, Grand Vitara Hybrid and the flagship Invicto Hybrid MPV can also be taken under the subscription model. The monthly charge for WagonR ranges from Rs 12,783/month to Rs 61,860/month for Hybrid Invicto.

At present, you can avail this monthly plan service of Maruti Suzuki in cities like Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Jaipur, Indore, Mangalore, Mysore, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Kochi, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam.
