Muharram holiday canceled in UP schools, Yogi government’s order issued

Muharram holidays scheduled to be held on Saturday (July 29) in schools up to 12th in Uttar Pradesh have been cancelled. For this, Director General School Education and State Project Director Office, Lucknow has issued a letter to all the district basic education officers of the state including Bareilly. Instructions have been given to conduct live telecast of the inaugural session of the All India Education Conference program organized by PM Narendra Modi in every school on July 29 in Delhi.
According to the letter issued to the District Basic Education Officers, it has been told that on the auspicious occasion of the third anniversary of the National Education Policy, all the schools will be opened for the All India Education Conference program organized in New Delhi on 29 July 2023 and the program will be conducted directly in the schools. Instructions have been given to make arrangements for broadcasting.
Live streaming will happen till school level
In the order issued by Director General of Education Vijay Kiran Anand, it has been said that the live streaming of the inaugural session of the All India Education Samagam program by the PM will be done till the school level through webcast. Instructions have also been given to get it telecasted. At the same time, he told in this letter that it has been said to send the information of all the people who participated in the inaugural session at the school level to the Ministry of Education by evening.
School was ordered to remain closed for two days
Earlier, an order had come for government and private schools of UP to remain closed for two days. In which everyone from children to teachers were going to celebrate two days holiday i.e. Saturday and Sunday. However, now this holiday has been cancelled.
