Uttarakhand: Congress state president’s apology is insufficient! Chouhan said – people of Devbhoomi are hurt by insult

Describing Congress State President Karan Mahara’s apology for insulting the people of Devbhoomi as insufficient, the BJP said that it is hurt by the manner in which the arrows of insult are inflicting wounds on the people on a daily basis. BJP state media in-charge said that Manish Khanduri’s rude remarks after the Congress President is also an insult to the land of brave soldiers and the contribution of General Khanduri.
Answering the questions of the media at the party headquarters, state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said, the objectionable statement given by Congress state president and especially Manish Khanduri on the bravery of Uttarakhand and Garhwal is unforgivable. He has not only insulted the military land and the valor of its martyred soldiers, but has also tried to belittle the indelible contribution of Uttarakhand’s ideal leader and his father General BC Khanduri. General Khanduri has spent his life in military service and then in the service of God’s land, but Congress and its leaders can never realize it. Describing it as immature and irresponsible politics, he said that the Congress should be ashamed that the public does not agree with their views and therefore does not participate in the programmes. In such a situation, instead of mutual contemplation, Congress blaming the public and making indecent comments exposes their mentality.
Chouhan said that till yesterday Mahara was justifying himself by alleging that the video was edited. Not only this, the leaders of his party were justifying the feelings of his statement in defense. Now the same Mahara, if he is apologizing on the pretext of hurting sentiments. However, the Congress President wants to divert the issue by talking about sleeper cell in his party. The factionalism in the Congress does not mean that the statesmen should be humiliated.
He insisted that Mahara had deliberately insulted the people of Garhwal and Uttarakhand, which shows his ideological thinking. Just as an arrow cannot go back after leaving the bow, in the same way respect cannot be returned by merely apologizing after an insult. The public will not forgive repeated humiliation by the Congress.
