Uttarakhand / Dehradun: School holiday was declared due to rain, but absentee teacher’s salary deducted, teacher alleges

Instructions have been given by the Chief Education Officer to deduct one day’s salary of Ankit Joshi, who is working as a lecturer in Government Inter College Buraskhanda. Accordingly, the Chief Education Officer cannot issue orders to deduct the salary.

Ankit Joshi was not present in the school when the district administration declared a holiday on July 10, and at the same time a statement was made by Ankit Joshi that when the district administration declared a holiday in the schools, then he Revised by the Chief Education Officer, only teachers and personnel were instructed to be present, and under this he did not attend the school on 10 July. But now his 1 day’s salary has been deducted, which he has said out of spite.
