Delhi: ‘What BJP could not do in 13 years, we did in 5 months’ – Arvind Kejriwal

The Chief Minister of the country’s capital Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has made a big claim on Tuesday. He has written in one of his tweets that after the year 2010, for the first time today in Municipal Corporation (MCD) from commissioner to peon, from sweeper to teacher, from gardener to DBC employee is getting salary on the first of the month. All this happened because now there is an honest AAP government in the corporation as well. He has said in his tweet that today I have an appeal to all the employees of the corporation. Do take home sweets for the children and parents from my side.
Please tell that Arvind Kejriwal had promised to solve all the problems of the employees during the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections in December 2022. One of these major promises included timely payment of salaries to all types of employees of MCD. Till now, the leaders of the opposition parties were targeting him for not fulfilling all the promises, but he has given a big gift to the MCD employees by tweeting about getting the salary for the month of July on August 1.
जो काम बीजेपी 13 साल में नहीं कर पाई, वो काम हमने सिर्फ़ 5 महीने में कर दिखाया –
— Arvind Kejriwal (@ArvindKejriwal) August 1, 2023
With the support of many opposition parties on the ordinance law
Arvind Kejriwal’s statement about the employees of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has come at a time when the leaders of the opposition parties are attacking him all-round on the issue of the Delhi Ordinance. Not only this, he is trying to get the support of all the opposition parties to prevent the Delhi Ordinance Act from being passed in the Rajya Sabha. For this, he has been meeting opposition leaders for a long time. Many opposition parties, including the Congress, have also given assurance of supporting the AAP on this issue. According to the information, till now CM Arvind Kejriwal has not got the support of 120 MPs necessary to stop the ordinance law in the Rajya Sabha.
