Uttar Pradesh: The customer came to withdraw four lakh rupees from the bank, the cashier gave eight lakhs, CCTV revealed, the customer turned away!

A strange case has come to light in Badaun. The cashier of a city bank mistakenly gave eight lakh rupees to a customer who came to withdraw four lakh rupees. When he checked the cash in the evening, the ground slipped under his feet. He asked the concerned customer to return the money, but he refused to bring more money. Now the management has filed an FIR against the customer.

The case is of HDFC Bank. According to the FIR lodged by the bank, the matter is of 24 July. Ajay Babu Gupta, a resident of Kasba Kalan in Shahjahanpur district, has an account in this bank. According to the cashier, on July 24, Ajay Babu had come to the bank to withdraw four lakh rupees. They fraudulently gave him Rs 8 lakh instead of Rs 4 lakh and he immediately left the bank with the money.

When the cashier checked his cash before closing the bank in the evening, he was surprised to see four lakh rupees less. He reconciled the entire cash, but the money turned out to be less. Later he checked the CCTV cameras. It is learned that more than Rs 4 lakh has gone to Ajay.

A call was made to Ajay on behalf of the bank management, but instead of listening, he disconnected the call. According to the bank management, the customer has one lakh rupees in his account. The bank has put a hold on his account. An FIR has been lodged against Ajay Babu in Civil Lines.
