A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Karwar, Karnataka. Here on Wednesday, August 2, an 8-month-old baby girl lost her life after accidentally putting a mobile charger in her mouth. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the family due to this very unfortunate incident.
The newborn baby has been identified as Sanidhya. Sanidhya’s parents name is Santosh and Sanjana. Santosh works as a contract worker in HESCOM (Hubli Electricity Supply Company). The family had plugged the charger into the socket to charge their mobile phone but had accidentally left the switch open after the phone was charged. When the girl put the pin of the charger in her mouth, she got a strong electric shock.
The parents immediately took Sanidhya to the nearest hospital by bike. However, despite the tireless efforts of the doctors at the hospital, the little girl could not be saved and was declared brought dead at the hospital. The local rural police station has registered a case in connection with the incident and further investigation is underway.
This heart-wrenching incident in Karwar is a lesson for those people who keep the charger connected to the electric board even after charging the mobile and do not consider it necessary to switch off the switch.
