Uttarakhand: Chauhan said- Congress usurped special industrial package during its tenure, told the recently received package from the Center to give impetus to the development plans

The BJP hit back at the Congress’s tirade over the special assistance received from the Center and termed them as usurpers of the special industrial package. It is beyond their imagination that the double engine government can take the state forward on the path of development at such a rapid pace.
Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Dhami for the special assistance received by the state, State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that this special assistance package will give a new impetus to the pace of development in the state. He said that this help of about 951 crores will give shape to various public welfare schemes in the state. The most important thing is that this financial assistance has been received in the form of long-term and interest-free amount, which will prove to be important in promoting the economic development of the state.
Taking a sarcasm, Chouhan said that the Congress cannot even imagine comparing the help the present government is getting from the Center to its own UPA government. Congress is the party whose central government had snatched the special economic package given by former PM Atal from the mouth of the people of the state. Then all these state Congress leaders had become silent.
The public has seen very well that when the Congress government was in power, the entire economy was focused on debt.
Chouhan said that it is unimaginable for him how the double engine government can steer the state on the path of economic development without any corruption. He is not even able to digest better work in the interest of the state.
