It has come to the notice of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami that the investigation of corruption and other irregularities is going on on the officers of many departments, but the investigating officers are not speeding up the investigation, due to which the investigation has been pending for a long time. The CM expressed strong displeasure over this. He has given immediate instructions to Secretary CM Shailesh Bagoli to provide details of all such corrupt officers.
So far this year, 10 officers and employees have been arrested on charges of taking bribe. Vigilance has also taken sanction from the government to prosecute them, while Vigilance against former IS Ram Vilas Yadav and former registrar of Ayurveda University, Mrityunjay Mishra. The investigation has been settled, both these cases are going on in the court, the same Vigilance has started investigation against PCS Nidhi Yadav, due to which there is a stir among the bureaucrats.
