Uttar Pradesh / Shahjahanpur: Report filed on five named and 50 unknown in attack on RSS office, 3 arrested, mother of accused is being framed
Police have registered a report against five named and 50 unknown people in connection with the vandalism in the office of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and assault on the workers in Sadar Bazar police station area on Wednesday night. The police have arrested the father and his two sons. Angry workers started arriving at the RSS office on Thursday morning. SP Ashok Kumar Meena also reached the spot and pacified the people by assuring strict action. Ravi Mishra, RSS’s Vibhag Karyavah, has filed a report that he received information from Mahanagar Pracharak Manjit at around 10:30 pm on Wednesday night that some people are urinating on the channel of the Sangh office in front of Shaheed Udyan. They are abusing on refusal. He informed the police. In a short while, the relatives of the accused and 40-50 people surrounded the office with sticks and guns. Vandalized the office. Nitin, Vineet, Anubhav and Ashok living there were beaten up. Stones were also pelted at the office.

As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police force reached the spot. At the same time, all the Sangh workers reached the RSS office. The police have registered a report under serious sections against Mukesh Gupta, his two sons Shashank and Shivank, besides Aman and Shekhar, and about 50 unknowns. Police have arrested Mukesh Gupta, his son Shivank and Shashank, residents of Mohalla Katia Tola.
SP pacifies the angry RSS workers
After getting information about the incident, RSS workers started reaching the office from Thursday morning itself. Preparations started to lay siege to the SP office regarding the arrest of the accused. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, a large number of police forces were deployed on the spot. RSS workers were shouting slogans inside and outside the office. SP Ashok Kumar Meena himself reached the spot. First department caretaker Ravi Mishra, metropolitan campaigner Manjit Singh along with other office bearers talked to SP Ashok Kumar Meena and SP City Sudhir Jaiswal in a closed room for about half an hour. After this the SP came out of the room. He told the people gathered in the auditorium of the RSS office that the three accused have been arrested. The search for others continues. Soon he will also be arrested. The anger of the RSS workers calmed down after the SP’s assurance.

Three accused have been arrested. The search is on for the two named accused. Efforts are being made to identify 40-50 unidentified people with the help of CCTV cameras installed nearby.

My son had returned from Dubai, being falsely implicated
Archana, mother of RSS office attack accused Shashank Gupta, told that her son had returned from Dubai three months ago as his wife was pregnant. He used to work in a software company there. He was returning from a friend’s place on Wednesday night. There was a dispute on the way. He has been beaten up and he is being framed. He has pleaded for justice.
