Uttar Pradesh / Shahjahanpur: Used to give luxury car for the crime, police arrested 5 dacoits with gold and silver
In this era of hi-tech, the dacoits, who have been involved in the robbery, have updated their style of committing the crime and started carrying out the robbery by giving lift to the victim in a luxury car.
Shahjahanpur police succeeded in arresting five dacoits from the neighboring district of Farrukhabad after an encounter. The police also recovered two luxury cars, gold and silver ornaments and a large quantity of illegal weapons from them.
Giving information to the media, Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Meena said that the police have arrested five dacoits from neighboring Farrukhabad district during the encounter. This gang of dacoits used to travel in luxury cars and used to give lift to the innocent passengers waiting for the bus on the way and sit in their car first and then rob them and drop them on the deserted road. A large quantity of illegal weapons including looted gold and silver ornaments have been recovered from these dacoits who were caught by the police.

A few days back, a family standing on the roadside waiting for a bus was robbed by robbers on the pretext of giving them a lift in their car in Sehramau police station area. Police have arrested 5 vicious dacoits from Farrukhabad district in an encounter. He said that this gang of dacoits had been carrying out incidents of loot in dozens of nearby districts for a long time. He told that an encounter took place between the Sehramau police and the dacoits when they were planning the robbery while standing at a closed petrol pump. After the encounter, the police arrested 5 miscreants. Looted gold and silver ornaments have also been recovered from the miscreants.
The SP said that these robbers have confessed to four more incidents of robbery in Shahjahanpur itself. Police have also recovered two luxury cars, gold and silver jewelery and a huge amount of illegal weapons from the miscreants. All the robbers caught by the police are residents of Farrukhabad district.
