Uttarakhand: Congress meeting on Rahul Gandhi’s visit on 7th, top leaders invited to Dehradun – Dhirendra Pratap
Senior Vice President of State Congress, Dhirendra Pratap said that the meeting organized on August 6 regarding the upcoming visit of top Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to Uttarakhand will now be held on August 7. He said that the party has sent invitations to all the top leaders to come to Dehradun for this meeting. Several office bearers including former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya, recently appointed senior observer in Chhattisgarh and former Congress President Pritam Singh, former Congress President Ganesh Godial will attend the meeting.
Demonstration will be held in Dehradun on August 9
State Congress Senior Vice President Dhirendra Pratap said that the agitating forces for the state construction of Uttarakhand have announced a huge demonstration in Dehradun on August 9 regarding the land law. Congress will also organize programs across the state on August 9 and remember the leaders involved in the struggle of Quit India Movement.
