When Mallikarjun Kharge interrupted in the Rajya Sabha, Amit Shah angrily said, ‘Hey listen… no bill to save PM’s membership’

In the Rajya Sabha on Monday (August 7), a heated argument was witnessed between Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Amit Shah introduced a bill in the Rajya Sabha with an ordinance related to the posting-transfer of officers in Delhi. This bill was passed in the Lok Sabha on Thursday itself. There was a lot of uproar in the Rajya Sabha during the discussion on the bill.

When Amit Shah was giving a speech on the bill, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge tried to interrupt him, to which Shah said, “Listen, Kharge ji has not brought the bill to save the PM’s membership and Congress has no right to speak on democracy.” No rights.

What did Amit Shah say in the House?

Actually, Amit Shah said that we are not changing the constitution to bring emergency. We have not brought this bill to save the membership of the former Prime Minister of this country. During the Emergency, three thousand leaders were jailed and newspapers had to keep their pages blank.

Clashes with Mallikarjun Kharge

Amit Shah said that these people are talking about democracy. Congress has no right to speak anything on democracy. After Amit Shah said this, there was a lot of uproar in the Rajya Sabha. Mallikarjun Kharge tried to interrupt him in the middle.

Target on AAP government

The Home Minister further said that the process of bringing the ordinance was not even completed that the matter was in the court and they started the transfers. Director level officers were told to report directly to the Chief Minister. Wanted to tamper with the file of Vigilance and Excise Department.

He said that the first constitutional amendment was passed in the Constituent Assembly. Since then the process of changing the constitution is going on. The purpose of this bill is that there should be a smooth corruption-free governance in Delhi. These bills have not been brought to bring the power to the center, but to legally stop the encroachment of the Delhi UT government on the power given to the center.
