Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MP from Baramati, Maharashtra, Supriya Sule fiercely attacked the government during the discussion on the no-confidence motion on the issue of Manipur in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. He reminded the slogans of BJP before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and also besieged the central government regarding the incident with women in Manipur.

Regarding the Manipur incident, Supriya Sule said that it is not a matter between her and us. This is about the dignity of women. He said that she is someone’s sister, someone’s daughter, someone’s wife. Will you raise someone’s respect and the government will remain silent? On this, on behalf of the Treasury Bench, a member said something regarding the criminal incidents with women in Rajasthan. In response, Supriya Sule said that whether in Rajasthan or Maharashtra, she is the daughter of the country.

Supriya Sule called the central government a failure and also said that I have stood up to speak for India. He also raised the issue of toppling the government in Maharashtra without naming the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). Supriya Sule said that in the nine years of this government, nine governments were toppled. He also listed the names of states including Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Puducherry and Maharashtra.

He also besieged the government on the issue of Vande Bharat train. Supriya Sule said that this train is not for the poor. There is a poor chariot for the poor. During the UPA government, many trains used to run from our area and today those trains do not even stop, they leave with a bang. Along with the prices of tomatoes and onions, he surrounded the government fiercely on the issue of inflation.
