Along with this, the villagers also organized Brahmabhoj. Hundreds of people of the village participated in this Havan-worship and feast program and remembered the pet dog with moist eyes.
There are rituals in Hinduism that after the death of a person, thirteenth and Brahmabhoj are organized for the peace of his soul. But, all these rituals were completed after the death of a dog in Baghpat. Yagya and Brahma Bhoj were organized for the peace of the dog’s soul. Actually this matter is of Bijrol village of Baghpat, where a dog named Tommy died. After his death, the villagers together organized a Yagya and Brahma Bhoj for him. Actually the villagers did all this for the peace of Tommy’s soul. It is being told that the whole locality is saddened by Tommy’s death. People told that Tommy was a favorite of the whole locality including this street. It is being told that Tommy was orphaned since his birth. That’s why the people of the neighborhood brought him up together, in whose memory the villagers completed the rites of feast and thirteenth.
