Uttar Pradesh: Vicious thugs! Used to blow cash by putting fevi quick in ATM, police told the shocking story of the fraud

A shocking case of ATM fraud has come to light in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. Here a gang of thugs has been exposed who used to withdraw money from people’s ATMs by putting adhesive fevi quick. The police have arrested two thugs in this case. The arrested accused are residents of Bihar. These vicious cyber thugs have carried out many incidents in many districts of Uttar Pradesh as well as in Bihar. Police have also recovered ATM cards, mobile phones, SIM cards, three and a half lakh rupees cash and equipment used to execute the incidents from their possession. Barabanki Surveillance and Nagar Kotwali police team have arrested these two vicious cyber robbers named Satish Kumar and Chandan Kumar from Kurauli. Both of them are residents of Sikandra in Jamui police station area of Bihar. Barabanki’s Additional Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Mishra has revealed the exploits of these two.

On July 7, the arrested thugs had withdrawn money from the account of a woman named Israt Jahan in Fatehpur town by changing her ATM card. On July 26, money was withdrawn from Prabhat Chandra’s mother’s account after her ATM card got stuck in the machine. After the case was registered in the case, when the police got involved in the investigation, there was a shocking revelation in it. According to the ASP, these thugs used to target the customers withdrawing money by putting Fevi Quick in the ATM in a very clever way. According to ASP, Satish Kumar and Chandan Kumar told during interrogation that these people were mostly illiterate and used to target villagers.

These thugs used to change the ATM card of the people or instead of entering the card in the ATM machine, they used to apply fevi quick with a syringe. Along with this, to get help on the ATM machine, they used to write their mobile numbers with markers. Both told that when a customer’s ATM card was stuck in the machine, one of the two used to go to the ATM. He used to ask the customer about his problem and asked him to dial the numbers written on the marker on the ATM machine for assistance. His other companion standing outside used to take the complete details of his ATM and other information including PIN number from the customer on mobile call itself.

The ASP told that on the phone he used to assure the customer to send the technician. But when the technician did not come for a long time, the customer used to leave upset. Then one of the two people used to go inside the ATM and take out the ATM card from other things including knife, plastic and used the same ATM card to do online shopping and withdraw cash from the account. The accused also carried out incidents in Bihar along with Kanpur Nagar, Lucknow, Unnao, Banaras, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli and other districts.

Police is busy investigating other incidents. The police have recovered 14 ATM cards, 3 mobile phones, 6 SIM cards, Indigo car, Rs 3,49,800 in cash, fevi quick, disposal syringe, screwdriver, pliers and other equipment used by other customers from their possession. SP Ashutosh Mishra told that the distributor in Bihar provides SIM in the name of another for one thousand rupees. Both of them used the same sim.

He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
