Uttarakhand: On the instructions of the CM, three major residential projects of MDDA which were incomplete, got a boost, people will get flats soon

For the past several years, the stir has intensified regarding the three big residential projects of MDDA which are lying incomplete. Following the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari has given instructions to complete the work of ISBT Housing Project, Dhaulas Housing Project and Aamwala Tarla Housing Project at the earliest. In these, advertisement for sale of 38 HIG flats of ISBT housing project has also been published.
In the Authority’s ISBT project, the construction of one incomplete block, which has a total of 38 HIG flats, has been completed. Its release has also been published, which is getting a very good response. The remaining two blocks will be completed in the next ten to fifteen days. The construction of 134 flats will be completed and their cost has been kept at around Rs 70 lakh. Similarly, the work of Dhaulas housing project was also stopped for a long time due to various reasons. Here 240 flats of EWS and 168 of MIG are being built.
Rs 2 crore has been sanctioned to the construction organization, soon the rest of the money will also be provided. March 2024 is the deadline for allotment of EWS flats, while June 2024 has been fixed for MIG. Also, work will start soon in Aamwala Tarla. This project was stalled for the last 3 years. Now all the hurdles have been removed. Work will start here soon as well. In this project, 240 EWS category flats have been allotted, while construction of 358 flats of LIG, Studio, MIG and HIG will be completed soon. Some of these flats are also built on the site, but their work is incomplete .
MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari has told that in order to fulfill the residential needs of the common man, the authority has started working fast in order to fulfill the residential needs of the common man.
CM Dhami visited the disaster affected areas in Kotdwar, gave these instructions to the officials
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made a field visit to Kotdwar disaster affected areas. Meanwhile, he instructed District Magistrate Ashish Chauhan to identify the disaster-affected areas in the district and present the report. Along with this, it has been said to make arrangements for essential items like clothes, ration, drinking water and electricity for the affected. Apart from this, Uttarakhand Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri has demanded housing scheme for the people affected by the Chief Minister at the right place under the Pradhan Mantri Atal Awas Yojana.

CM Dhami reached Kotdwar helipad from Haridwar
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Kotdwar Helipad from Haridwar and then visited Lalpani, Kashirampur and Gadighat Pul Kaudian of Saneh Patti. Along with this, the Chief Minister also inspected the bridge built on the Malan river. During the disaster-affected tour, the Chief Minister directed the Deputy District Magistrate to vacate the houses of the people living near the rivers in Kotdwar and set them up in safe emergency camps.

On the night of August 8, due to the strong current of the Paniyali river, the water of the Kaudian bridge was washed away in the Gabar Singh army camp and Kaudiyan village, while on August 9, the approach of the Gadighat bridge got drowned in the Kho river due to a cloudburst. Due to which a flood-like situation has prevailed in Simmchaud village.
