Congress ready to join hands with every party opposing BJP
Asked about Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar’s meeting in Pune on Saturday, Patole said, “It is a matter of concern for us and we do not accept the secret meetings of Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar. However, the issue will be discussed by top Congress leaders. This will also be discussed in INDIA alliance, so it will not be right for me to talk further on this. He said, “The Congress has decided to join hands with every party or leader who is ready to oppose the BJP. Hence, there is no truth in the speculations that the Congress is considering contesting the Lok Sabha elections alone without taking Sharad Pawar along.”
Meanwhile, Sharad Pawar told people in his hometown Baramati that some people have taken a different path but they can change their stand when they realize the situation. He said whether they change their stand or not, we will not turn away from the path we have chosen.
