This retired man is begging to give bribe
Actually, we are talking about Mohan Paswan, who lives near Power House Road in Sadar Block, near the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan office of Begusarai. At present, he begs near the Zilla Parishad market every day. According to him, he has started begging because he does not have money to pay a bribe of Rs 2 lakh to a government officer. It is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In the picture, he is also holding a placard on his hand, on which it is written that Zilla Parishad employees and officers are demanding bribe and they are retired. They don’t have money to pay bribe, so they have to beg.
Retired in 1993
While talking to a media company, Mohan Paswan told that he had retired from the post of roller driver in the year 1993. After retirement, he went to the CM’s Janata Darbar to ask for the pay scale, here he got justice and the district administration also gave permission for it. However, after this DDC Sushant Kumar asked to meet accountant Daya Sagar. When he met the accountant, he was asked for a bribe of Rs 2 lakh.
Pay scale not received for last five years
Since he did not pay bribe, he did not get his pay scale for the last five years. When he got tired and exhausted all the means, he again had to adopt the path of begging. Now he is collecting Rs 2 lakh just by begging. They still have the hope that perhaps seeing them begging might remove the blindfold of some officer and make them aware of their helplessness.
