Uttarakhand: Chief Secretary held a meeting of officials regarding commission market, asked for timetable from MDDA from start of work to completion

Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu held a meeting with senior officials at the Secretariat on Friday regarding the commission market. The Chief Secretary instructed the officials to speed up the construction of commission market. The Chief Secretary also demanded from MDDA a timetable for completion of work at each level from commencement to completion.
The Chief Secretary said that while developing the area, special attention should be given to all the basic needs. Appropriate place should be earmarked for fire fighting etc. The selected land should be utilized in maximum and better manner. He said that full attention should be paid to the quality of work. He said that the allotment of shops should be done in advance after consulting the stakeholders, so that the businessman knows which shop is allotted to him. Suggestions must be taken from them so that the design of the shop allotted to the businessman is as per his work. He said that once the shop is allotted, the traders themselves will be able to take care of the quality of the work.
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Secretary S.N. Pandey, District Magistrate Dehradun Mrs. Sonika, Vice President Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority Banshidhar Tiwari and Additional Secretary Vineet Kumar and other officers were present.
