Haryana / Karnal: The student’s brother impersonated the teacher and called her and said – Grandmother died, absconded with the student after giving her leave
In Karnal, Haryana, a young man, posing as his brother, called a class nine student from the school and informed the teacher over the phone about her grandmother’s death, after which he ran away with the student. The accused youth also got a female teacher to talk on the phone. The woman posed as the student’s mother and talked to the teacher. After which the young man ran away with the student. When the student did not reach her home after vacation, the family members searched. Later the actions of the young man came to light. The matter is of Gharaunda police station area.
In the complaint given to the police, the family members told that their daughter had gone to school, when she did not return home after vacation, they asked for information from relatives and her friends but nothing was found. Later, when the school teacher was asked about her daughter, she told that the student had reached the school on Friday morning but later a young man called and said that he was the student’s brother and her grandmother had died. When the teacher asked her to talk to her mother, she also got her to talk to a woman. After this he allowed the student to be taken from school.
The family members have filed a case against the accused under sections of kidnapping. Police have registered a case and started investigation. Family members told that their daughter is only 14 years old. As part of the plan, the accused has taken her with him.
The girl who went to collect the suit money is missing
