Punjab: Massive fire breaks out in Mohali’s chemical factory, continuous blasts, 8 people burnt

A massive fire has broken out in a chemical factory in Kurali, Mohali, Punjab. 7 to 8 people are reported to have been burnt in this accident. Fire tenders from Mohali and Ropar have reached the spot. From these two cities Ambulance and doctor’s team have also arrived.

Police officers and more than 2 dozen fire engines are present at the spot. There is a chemical factory next to the one where the fire broke out. If there is a fire there too, there could be huge damage.

After the fire, till now 5 people have been rescued and sent to 6 Face Hospital in Mohali. The fire in the factory is in such a way that the chemical items inside are continuously exploding.

After this accident, two videos of the chemical factory have also surfaced. The first video has been shot from close range, in which high flames are seen rising. Whereas, the second video has been shot from a long distance,  Due to the fire, black smoke is seen rising into the sky. At present, fire department personnel are trying to extinguish the fire.
