Bharatiya Janata Party has given this responsibility to Ramesh Bidhuri in the election state Rajasthan. BJP has appointed Ramesh Bidhuri in-charge of Tonk district. Assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan this year. There are speculations that Sachin Pilot may contest the Rajasthan Assembly elections from Tonk district. However, this is not clear yet regarding the pilot. Meanwhile, BJP has handed over the responsibility of Tonk district to its MP Ramesh Bidhuri.
Tonk district is considered to be the stronghold of Sachin Pilot. In Rajasthan, both BJP and Congress parties are currently busy in election preparations. Ramesh Bidhuri is BJP MP from South Delhi. Regarding Tonk district, recently Sachin Pilot had also said that everyone is keeping an eye on Tonk. But he is confident that this time the public will break his own old record by voting more than last time. Attempt to tap Gurjar vote bank
The influence of Gurjars is considered to be in many districts of Rajasthan. Tonk district is also one of them. Before the assembly elections, BJP is trying to woo the Gujjars of the state in its favor. It is believed that there is resentment among the Gujjars for not making Sachin Pilot the CM. Therefore, BJP wants to capitalize on this opportunity in the upcoming assembly elections. Ramesh Bidhuri also belongs to Gurjar caste. It is believed that by making Bidhuri in-charge of Tonk district, BJP also wants to garner the votes of Gurjars.
In the 2019 elections, BJP could not do anything special in Gurjar dominated areas. At the same time, this society had unilaterally supported Congress.
