Car fell into ditch in Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir; Policeman and SPO killed, 2 injured

A vehicle slipped off the road and fell into a ditch in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. Due to the accident, the Special Police Officer (SPO) and a policeman on board died. Two people have also been injured. The officers provided this information. He told that this accident happened near a dam in Chanderkot. He told that SPO Swami Raj died in this accident while three injured including policemen (Seva Singh and Parvez Ahmed) were admitted to the hospital. Officials said Ahmed died in the hospital.
‘Very close to making Jammu and Kashmir terrorism free
Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Dilbag Singh on Wednesday made a big statement regarding anti-terrorism operations in the state. He said that Pakistan and its agencies have been adopting the path of narco terrorism for the last two years to target the young generation in the state and collect money for terrorist activities. Several modules of narco terrorism busted: Dilbag Singh
Director General of Police Dilbag Singh visited Bani area of Kathua district on Wednesday. During this, while talking to media persons, he said, ‘Many modules of narco terrorism have been busted in the last two years. Investigation is going on in about 20 such cases which show the involvement of terrorists and their handlers. Singh said that the security forces will take all possible action against the 119 fugitive criminals who are currently in Pakistan. He reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir has come very close to being free from terrorism.
