Businessman Swatantra Bharti, resident of Sidhauna village of Khanpur police station area of Ghazipur district, was murdered by his wife along with her lover and his associates. She was married to a businessman without any reason, whereas she wanted to live with her lover. The police arrested the wife of the deceased and two murderers involved in the murder. While two police teams are continuously raiding possible locations to nab the main accused lover. The murder case was revealed by SP Omvir Singh during a press conference on Monday. The double character of Kanchan, the wife of the deceased caught in the Swatantra Bharati murder case, came to light. First she got her husband murdered after planning it and then she cried bitterly over his dead body. Kanchan, who came under suspicion after checking the call details, after strictness, revealed the whole truth and said that she could not live without Veeru, she loves him. However, Veeru is still absconding.
Sent her husband out on the pretext of chocolate
According to the police, about half an hour before the murder, Kanchan had called on Swatantra’s phone. Talked for 10 minutes. When the police talked to Kanchan about this, she said that she had sent Swatantra to bring chocolate. After this, when Kanchan’s call records were searched, the matter came to light.
I got married against my will
After calling her husband, she called Veeru. When I tried to find out the answer to who Veeru is, he called him his friend. But to be strict, he told the whole story. She said she loved him. Since she belonged to another caste, her family members did not allow her to marry Veeru. I was married to Swatantra against my will. After marriage, Veeru was unable to live without me. I too was not able to live without him. We used to talk every day.
I knew that my husband would have a lot of work to do today
One day Veeru talked to me and cried a lot. I couldn’t see his pain. I wanted to stay with him only. That’s why I told Veeru to kill Swatantra. After this Veeru told me the complete planning. He was going to shoot him. That day he asked me to somehow send Swatantra to the road leading to Bihariganj. That road is deserted. So I insisted on bringing chocolate to Swatantra. Told him to bring expensive chocolates. When he left the shop, Veeru had told me that his work would be completed today.
This is how the police revealed the murder case
The Superintendent of Police said that on the evening of September 29, mobile shopkeeper businessman Swatantra Bharti was shot dead by bike-riding killers. When the police started the investigation, they got information about the appearance and attire of the murderers by talking to and interrogating the women working near the incident site. After this, when the police started connecting the link to the murder, they got information about the involvement of the deceased’s wife in the murder. After this, when the mobile phones of the deceased and his wife were searched, layer after layer of the incident was revealed.
These have been arrested so far
The joint team of Khanpur Police, SWAT and Surveillance arrested the deceased’s wife Kanchan Giri, the accused Govind Yadav, resident of Dihiya village of Nandganj police station and Gama Bind, resident of Hakimpur Sonthi. Also, two pistols, two cartridges and the bike used in the murder were recovered. Whereas the police is continuously raiding possible places to arrest the main accused lover, Veeru Yadav, a resident of Khutwa of Shadiabad police station.
