Bihar / Muzaffarpur: Criminals shot a woman returning from Dubai and ran away, incident captured live in CCTV

The crime graph is increasing in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. There is an atmosphere of anger and fear among the people due to two murders in the city in 48 hours. Sajida Afrin, 37, wife of an NRI, was shot dead by bike-riding miscreants on Chandwara Ali Mirza Road in Nagar police station area of Muzaffarpur. CCTV footage of this incident has also surfaced. It is visible how two miscreants wearing helmets carried out the crime. After getting down from the bike, a miscreant shot the woman walking on foot from behind, hitting her in the temple and she died on the spot.

In the CCTV video of the murder that has surfaced, it is seen that the criminals shot the woman and fled from the spot waving their weapons. Hearing the sound of the bullet, people ran to the spot. There was sensation in the area after the incident. People informed the family members and the police, after receiving the information, City SP Arvind Pratap Singh reached the spot with his team and investigated and also interrogated the local people and family members. The police is busy identifying the criminals on the basis of CCTV footage. Police investigation has revealed that Sanjeeda was murdered by a professional shooter.

It is being told that the deceased Sajida Afrin was returning home on foot from the physiotherapist. Then a criminal who came from behind on foot on the road in front of the house shot him at close range to his head. Sajida lived with her mother-in-law and brother-in-law in a rented house in Chandwara Ali Mirza Road. He doesn’t have children. Due to nerve disease, she went to the physiotherapist daily. She had returned to Muzaffarpur from Dubai in February itself. According to family members, he had no enmity with anyone. Sanjeeda’s husband Mohammad Suhain is a businessman in Abu Dhabi, Dubai. In the initial investigation, the case is being linked to contract killing. However, the reason for the murder has not been revealed. Police have taken the body into their custody and sent it to SKMCH for post-mortem.
