MP cabinet meeting before implementation of code of conduct, many important decisions
The code of conduct for assembly elections can come into force any time after the final publication of the voter list (October 4). Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has called a cabinet meeting on Wednesday. This will be the last cabinet meeting before the code of conduct. In this, important decisions will be taken regarding development work in Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur and other cities. Approval will be given for the construction of an eight-lane elevated corridor from Kamla Park to Sant Hirdaram Nagar in Bhopal.
At the same time, a decision will be taken to establish Global Skill Park like Bhopal in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Sagar and Rewa. Departmental officials said that to ease the traffic in Indore, Rajgarh and Old Bhopal, a four-lane VIP road was built in 1999. The traffic on this has increased manifold. Traffic jams occur frequently, hence it is necessary to create an alternative route. For this, an eight-lane elevated corridor will be built from Kamla Park in Bhopal to Sant Hirdaram Nagar. Its cost is estimated at Rs 2,745 crore.
LPG cylinder for Rs 450
Rs 358 crore will be spent on land acquisition and environmental management. At the same time, through the Global Skill Park, youth will be provided skill development training in various disciplines. In the meeting, a decision will also be taken to provide LPG cylinders to the women of special backward tribes (Baiga, Bharia and Sahariya) at the rate of Rs 450 like dear sisters. A total of 43 proposals will be put up for consideration in the meeting.
This new tehsil will be formed
Unhel in Ujjain, Lamta in Balaghat, Bamhori and Sultanganj in Raisen, Kayampur in Mandsaur.
These Panchayats will be made Municipal Council
In the meeting, a proposal will also be made to make Nahargarh in Mandsaur, Semaria in Sidhi, Avantipur Barodiya in Shajapur, Mandsaur Bolia and Gandhisagar, Singhpur in Satna, Gulana in Shajapur, Rahatgaon in Harda as municipal councils.
