During the funeral procession in Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh, people who reached the cremation site were suddenly attacked by a swarm of bees, after which there was chaos. Due to this, the funeral program also had to be stopped and many people were badly injured. According to the report, the bees stung and injured about 25 people. Everyone has been admitted to the local government hospital, where as the condition of four injured is critical, they have been referred to Kanpur for treatment.

In fact, in Chhani village of Hamirpur district, people had reached the funeral site at around 12 noon on Thursday to perform the last rites of a dead woman. Meanwhile, big bees attacked the funeral site due to which people started running here and there and there was chaos. During this time the funeral process also had to be stopped.

Village head Arun Kumar told that people had gathered to perform the last rites of the village’s elderly woman Ramjanaki. Meanwhile, a swarm of bees attacked, in which about 25 people were injured. This includes the deceased woman’s son Pappu (58), Kallu (36), Akhilesh (42), Umakant, Kamta Prasad, Ramvihari Shivhare, Vanta, Rakesh, Lala (37), Rajesh Brijgopal, Shatrughan. Others present there took the injured to the government hospital, out of which Kallu, Kamta Prasad, Akhilesh and Umakant were referred to Kanpur after their condition became critical. The remaining injured are undergoing treatment in the district hospital.
