Here are the Election Results 2023 of LAHDC Kargil; Two candidates each from Congress and National Conference won, BJP got one seat
Counting of votes in the Kargil Hill Development Council Election of Union Territory Ladakh began on Sunday morning amid tight security. The results of counting of votes for 26 council seats will come by late evening.
At present, the counting of votes is going on in 9 phases in Polytechnic College Kargil. Counting of 12 council seats is to be done in the first four phases. Election Officer and Kargil Deputy Commissioner Shrikant Suse took stock of the preparations during the counting of votes.
Good start for Congress and National Conference in Kargil Hill Council, two candidates each won, BJP got one seat. Congress candidate Abdul Samad won Ranbirpora-Drass seat by a margin of 575 votes. He got 1949 votes. National Conference’s Mubarak Shah Naqvi got 1374 votes and BJP’s Faiyaz Ahmed Qari got 545 votes. A total of 3896 votes were cast in the area.
Whereas Congress candidate Abdul Hadi won the Tai-Suru seat by a margin of 261 votes. He got 1717 votes, National Conference’s Syed Abbas got 1456 votes. A total of 3185 votes were cast in the area.
National Conference candidate Kacho Muhammad Firoz won in Pashkum constituency by a margin of 350 votes. He got 1756 votes, followed by Muhammad Ali (Independent) with 1406 votes and Ahmed Hussain (AAP) with 130 votes. A total of 3309 votes were cast in the area.
BJP candidate Padma Dorje won the Stackchai Khangral seat by a margin of 177 votes, getting 1007 votes, followed by Syed Hasan (Congress) with 830 votes and Ghulam Hussain (JKNC) with 479 votes. A total of 2656 votes were cast in the area.
National Conference candidate Phunchuk Tashi won in Padum constituency by a margin of 54 votes, he got 1745 votes, BJP’s Skalzang Wangyal got 1691 votes. A total of 3455 votes were cast in the area. In the Kargil Hill Council elections, Congress candidate Nasir Hussain Munshi won the Choskor seat by a margin of 434 votes. He got 1447 votes, followed by National Conference’s Mohammad Raza who got 1013 votes and BJP’s Bashir Ahmed who got 174 votes. A total of 2655 votes were cast in the area.
National Conference candidate Manzoor Ul Hussain won the Yorbaltak constituency by a margin of 90 votes. He got 1452 votes, followed by independent Kacho Ahmed Ali Khan who got 1362 votes and BJP’s Mohammad Hasan Pasha who got 439 votes. A total of 3276 votes were cast in the area.
Independent candidate Ghulam Mohammad won the Barsu seat by a margin of 228 votes. He got 1411 votes, followed by Ghulam Abbas Wazir (Congress) with 1183 votes and Abdul Hani (BJP) with 51 votes. A total of 2653 votes were cast in the area.
Congress candidate Agha Ainul Hooda won the Parakachik seat by a margin of 1128 votes. He got 2165 votes, followed by Ghulam Mohammad (Independent) who got 1037 votes. A total of 3215 votes were cast.
National Conference candidate Ghulam Haider won the Lankerchi seat by a margin of 416 votes. He got 1203 votes, followed by Congress’s Mohammad Sadiq who got 786 votes, Independent Syed Shamsuddin who got 289 votes and BJP’s Mansoor Hussain who got 127 votes.
A total of 2488 votes were cast
National Conference candidate Syed Mujtaba won the Trespone seat by a margin of 186 votes. He got 1292 votes, independent Nawaz Ali got 1106 votes and independent Ahmed Hussain got 750 votes. Total votes were 3160.
National Conference candidate Mohammad Sajjad won the Saliskat seat by a margin of 200 votes. He got 1144 votes, Syed Hasan (Congress) got 944 votes and Ahmed Hussain (BJP) got 66 votes. A total of 2164 votes were cast.
Independent candidate Syed Ali won the Gund Mangalpur seat by a margin of 335 votes. He got 1313 votes, Congress’s Mohammad Abbas got 978 votes, Syed Mehdi (Independent) got 418 votes and Nasir Hussain (BJP) got 67 votes. A total of 2856 votes were cast.
Congress candidate Stanzin Jegmit won the Karsha seat by a margin of 79 votes. He got 1509 votes. BJP’s Rigzin Tsewang got 1430 votes. A total of 2946 votes were cast.
BJP candidate Stanzin Lakpa won the sixth seat of Kargil Hill Council by a margin of 234 votes. He received 798 votes, followed by Tenzin Sonam (Congress) who received 564 votes. A total of 1371 votes were cast.
National Conference candidate Ashiq Ali won the Thangadumbur seat by a margin of 1124 votes. He got 1643 votes, followed by BJP’s Mohammad Ali who got 519 votes. A total of 2193 votes were cast.
