Uttar Pradesh / Moradabad: Fishermen found a sack full of notes in the pond

Fishermen found a sack full of currency notes lying in a pond located between Dhaka Kundanpur and Suryanagar in Majhola police station area. Initially he thought that these were crumbly notes. When the notes were dried, they turned out to be genuine. Nearly one crore rupees in five hundred rupee notes each was divided among four people. As soon as the police got wind of this, they reached the fishermen’s house and returned after investigation. But the police personnel did not give any information about this to the higher officials.

Some people resident of Dhaka Kundanpur across the line had gone to catch fish in a pond near Suryanagar at around 12 noon on Wednesday. Meanwhile, two fishermen saw a sack lying in the water. He took the sack out of the water. When I opened the sack, it was filled with notes. During this time two more persons reached there.

There was a long discussion between the four. During this, some said that the notes were in powder form. All the notes were wet. The notes were dried on the roof of the house. Eyewitnesses say that after drying it became clear that the five were genuine Rs 500 notes. Meanwhile someone informed the police. Police personnel from Ramatalaiya post reached the fishermen’s house and inquired about the notes. Its police personnel returned. Ramtalaiya outpost incharge Madan Kumar said that some people had found a sack full of notes in the pond. The notes were spoiled by water. After this the police personnel came back.

A young man informed the police for not paying Rs 500
The information that a sack full of notes was found in the pond had spread in Dhaka Kundanpur. On receiving this information, a young man from the locality reached him. Who got the sack. It is being told that he had demanded five hundred rupees but did not give five hundred rupees to the young man. Angered by this, he reached the post and informed the police personnel. After this, police personnel from Ramtalaiya reached Dhaka Kundanpur.

Eyewitnesses say that after a sack full of notes was found, a huge gathering was being organized in Kunderpur Dhaka as the evening approached. Rs 500 notes are available in abundance. Through these notes, the fishermen are providing a lot of fun to themselves as well as to the people of the locality.
