Government becomes strict regarding inhuman incidents with children in illegal madrasas, all madrasas of Uttarakhand will be investigated

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken a strict stance regarding the inhuman incident that happened to children in the illegal madrasa located at Jeolikot in Nainital district. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, CM Dhami has instructed Home Secretary Radha Raturi to issue instructions to the District Magistrates of all the districts to verify all the madrassas operating in the state. Also, during the verification of Madrasas, if unethical activities are taking place in any Madrasa, then immediate legal action should be taken. Instructions have been issued by the Home Secretary to all the District Magistrates.

Let us tell you that a case of inhuman incident with children came to light in an illegal madrasa in Veerbhatti located near Jeolikot, Nainital. This madrasa was being run for the last 15 years. However, when the team led by the City Magistrate arrived for inspection last Sunday on the orders of the District Magistrate, it came to light. During the inspection, 24 children were found in critical condition in the Madrasa, after which the administrative team informed the families of all these children.

The families of the children present in the madrassas said that they were not even allowed to meet their children. It is noteworthy that thousands of madrassas are running illegally across the country. However, despite the strictness of the Central and State Government, illegal madrassas have not been controlled. In such a situation, following the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, orders for investigation of all the madrassas of the state have been issued. Besides, verification of all these madrassas will also be done.
