PM Modi’s visit to Uttarakhand tomorrow, will gift Rs 4200 crore to the state, will also inaugurate 76 rural roads and 25 bridges

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttarakhand on Thursday (October 12) and will dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth about Rs 4200 crore. He will offer prayers at Jageshwar Dham and visit Adi Kailash. During this, he will meet soldiers on the India-China border and address a public meeting in Pithoragarh.
The Prime Minister’s Office said PM Modi will reach Gunji village in Pithoragarh district at around 9.30 am, where he will interact with local people and visit an exhibition highlighting local art and products. They will also interact with Army, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Border Roads Organization (BRO) personnel. At around 12 noon, Prime Minister Modi will reach Jageshwar in Almora, where he will offer prayers at Jageshwar Dham. It is said that Jageshwar Dham, situated at an altitude of about 6200 feet, has about 224 stone temples.
Will inaugurate 76 rural roads, 25 bridges
After this, PM Modi will reach Pithoragarh at around 2:30 pm, where he will dedicate to the nation several development projects worth about Rs 4200 crore in rural development, roads, electricity, irrigation, drinking water, horticulture, education, health and disaster management and other sectors. Will lay the foundation stone.
According to the PMO, the Prime Minister will inaugurate 76 rural roads and 25 bridges built in rural areas under PMGSY. Apart from this, he will inaugurate 15 buildings of BDO offices in 9 districts, three roads including Kausani Bageshwar Road constructed under the Central Road Fund, Dhari-Dauba-Girichhina Road, Nagla-Kichha Road.
