Woman going to her father’s funeral molested in flight! Accused engineer arrested

Police has arrested an engineer from Nagpur airport. Against whom a woman has accused of committing obscene acts in a moving flight. According to the police, the CISF jawan aboard the plane objected to the woman being molested. The accused is 32 years old, who was on the Pune-Nagpur flight. The incident happened on Monday. Whose arrest took place on Tuesday.

The accused is a resident of Kondhwa, Pune

The arrested accused is a resident of Kondhwa area of Pune. He is an engineer by profession. His name is Firoz Shaikh. Sonegaon police station personnel have said that a 40-year-old woman from Chandrapur has given a complaint against the accused. The woman told that she was going to Nagpur by flight for her father’s funeral. When the flight landed at Nagpur airport, the accused performed obscene acts on her.

There was also a CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) personnel in the plane. Who had stopped the accused before informing the police. After which a case has been registered against the accused Firoz Shaikh under several sections. Let us tell you that many cases of tampering in flights have been reported in the past also.

A few days ago, a case was also reported in SpiceJet flight from Delhi to Mumbai. The allegation against a passenger was that he had molested a female flight attendant and a female co-passenger. The matter escalated after the passenger had taken some photographs of the cabin crew. Later he apologized. After which she deleted the photos from her phone. This matter came to light on August 2.
