First supported Israel, now India supported Palestine!
The war continues between Israel and Hamas fighters. More than 2 thousand people have been killed in this war. Most of those who lost their lives were children. Western countries are giving statements in support of Israel, while some countries are not in a position to say anything yet, but in the meantime, India has made its stand clear on the Hamas and Palestine war. The Ministry of External Affairs of India has clearly stated that India has always supported a separate and independent state of Palestine.
Along with this, the Government of India has also advocated direct talks for a peaceful solution. Making its stand clear, the Ministry of External Affairs posted its official statement on Twitter and wrote, “Our policy in this regard has remained the same for a long time. India has always supported an independent, sovereign and viable Palestine with Israel within the internationally recognized boundaries. Advocated the establishment of the state.”
Recently, in the early morning of October 7, Hamas fighters fired more than 5 thousand rockets at Israel. After this, the fighters entered Israel and fired on the people and abducted hundreds of people. At least 100 Israeli people were killed in this incident. After this attack, many western countries condemned Hamas by calling it a terrorist attack, along with this, PM Modi wrote on X on the evening of October 7, terming this attack as a terrorist attack, “In this difficult time, we Standing with Israel.”
This post of PM Modi was seen as the stand of India. India recognized this stand when Israeli Ambassador to India Naor Gillon said that Israel appreciates India for this support. After this, users on social media got divided into two categories. One section has started supporting Israel, while another section is supporting Palestine.
