Question asked to Babar Azam on support of Hamas, PAK captain said this in press conference

The ODI World Cup (ODI World Cup-2023) match is to be played between India and Pakistan on Saturday, 14th October. Crores of cricket lovers from both the countries are full of enthusiasm about this match. Meanwhile, Babar Azam held a press conference and answered the questions of journalists. During this time, Babar was also asked about the tweet of Mohammad Rizwan.

Worldwide opposition to Hamas

People all over the world are expressing anger against the terrorist organization Hamas. Hamas terrorists attacked Israel and killed many innocent civilians. Meanwhile, Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Rizwan, playing in the World Cup (ICC ODI World Cup-2023), dedicated his century to the people of Gaza. Rizwan played an unbeaten inning of 131 runs in the World Cup match against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad. He was chosen player of the match. Rizwan again wrote on X (Twitter) in support of Gaza.

When asked a question to Babar…

Now before the match against India, Pakistan captain Babar Azam was questioned. When he was asked a question on Rizwan’s tweet, Babar said, ‘You talk only on cricket. Right now you are talking about a different matter. Let us tell you that selected countries of the world are supporting the terrorist organization Hamas. Actually, they are in support of the people of Gaza, one of them is Pakistan. After the victory against Sri Lanka in the ODI World Cup, Mohammad Rizwan dedicated his century on social media to the Palestinian people settled in Gaza.

What had Rizwan written?

Pakistan’s star batsman Rizwan wrote after scoring a century against Sri Lanka, ‘This is for our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Happy to contribute to the victory. Credit goes to the entire team and especially Abdullah Shafiq and Hasan Ali for making it easy. Many thanks to the people of Hyderabad for their wonderful hospitality and support. Many people protested against this. Not only this, ICC was also asked to take action against Rizwan.
