As soon as the Chief Minister reached the ARTO office, a stampede broke out here too. As soon as they got wind of CM Dhami’s arrival at the ARTO office, the agents pulled down the shutters of their shops and ran away from the spot.
At the same time, CM Pushkar Dhami checked all the records in the ARTO office. During this time, he expressed his displeasure over negligence in vehicle registrations. Apart from this, CM Dhami was also seen very angry over the issue of drunk driving and overloading in Ramnagar and surrounding areas. He instructed the officers present on the spot to immediately improve the arrangements.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the government is trying to ensure that people do not have to visit government offices and officers should provide relief to the public with their responsibilities, but this is not being followed. The authorities need to pay attention to ensure that the public does not have to get its work done through middlemen and the pendency should be reduced. He said that if there is negligence in public work then the concerned officer will not be spared.
