Army will promote government schemes, selfie points will be made in 9 cities of the country

Now military and defense establishments are also being involved in the work of taking the Centre’s flagship schemes like women empowerment, Ujjwala, self-reliant and capable India among the people. Apart from the Army, Air Force and Navy, the Defense Ministry has asked DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization) and BRO (Border Roads Organization) to create selfie points in 9 cities. Selfie points of the schemes will be made here with the photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A meeting in this regard has been held under the chairmanship of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Military and defense establishments have also been told the selfie point theme and the location to install them. Where assembly elections are going to be held, they have been kept separate from selfie points.

Out of more than eight hundred selfie points, the Indian Army has got a hundred points. 75 places have been earmarked for Air Force, 75 for Navy, 50 for BRO, 50 for DRDO and 50 for Sainik Schools. More than four hundred similar places have been ensured in other defense organizations also. There will be information about that scheme along with PM Modi’s photo at the selfie point. People have also been given the option to upload their selfies on social media.

These cities of the country have been selected
9 cities have been selected for selfie points. These include Delhi, Prayagraj, Pune, Bengaluru, Meerut, Nashik, Kollam, Kolkata and Guwahati. These points will be at rail bus stations, malls and tourist places. Digital selfie points with Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be created to attract the youth.
