Global Investors Summit 2023: Dhami appeals to expatriates in UAE to visit their state once a year

Preparations are going on in full swing for the Global Investors Summit, which is going to be held in December this year. In order to ensure maximum investment in Uttarakhand, the Uttarakhand government is wooing investors not only from within the country but also from abroad. In this sequence, a delegation along with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat has gone on UAE tour. Meanwhile, Uttarakhand Association of UAE and Indian expatriates organized a program for CM Dhami.

CM urges Uttarakhand migrants to come to Devbhoomi

In the program organized, Chief Minister Dhami told the migrants of Uttarakhand that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, development work is being done in various fields including tourism, religious, spirituality, health, education and employment. In such a situation, he has appealed to the migrants of Uttarakhand to come to Devbhoomi once a year. He said that the migrants of Uttarakhand are connected to their culture and tradition even while living abroad, which is commendable.

Proud to be Uttarakhandi

CM Dhami said that he is on a foreign tour to seek participation of more and more investors in the Global Investors Summit to be held in Dehradun in December. Apart from being the land of Gods, Uttarakhand is also a land of yoga and spirituality. Our state is a symbol of the country’s prosperity and cultural heritage. In such a situation, we are proud that our roots are connected to Uttarakhand.

MoUs worth Rs 40 thousand crores have been signed

CM said that Uttarakhand Immigrant Cell has been formed to create better coordination between the immigrant brothers and sisters and the Uttarakhand government and to take immediate action on their investment proposals. He said that so far MoUs have been signed on investment proposals worth about Rs 40,000 crore. The state government aims to bring investment of about Rs 2.5 lakh crore in the Global Investors Summit.
