Haryana / Gurugram: The vicious daughter-in-law returned to her in-laws’ house after leaving, cleaned all the stuff by morning and….

In Gurugram, Haryana, adjacent to Delhi, a robber bride ran away from her in-laws’ house with lakhs of rupees in cash and jewelery on the very second day of her marriage. Regarding this matter, the police said that on the second day of her marriage, the woman ran away from her in-laws’ house in Bilaspur area with Rs 1.5 lakh and jewellery.
An official said that a person named Ashok Kumar had asked his acquaintances and relatives to find a girl for his younger son’s marriage. After this, an acquaintance Manish introduced his son to Manju. Manju and her partner claimed that their relative Preeti would prove to be an ideal daughter-in-law for the family and a good wife for their son.
Manju and her partner told Ashok Kumar’s family that the girl’s family was poor and they had no money. On this Ashok Kumar said that his family does not need dowry.
The marriage took place without dowry
Victim Ashok Kumar further said, when the girl, Preeti, liked my family, I gave Rs 1 lakh and some clothes to her family. On July 26, Manju and her companion reached Jhajjar court with Preeti. After the court marriage, Ashok Kumar returned to his home with his new daughter-in-law. After this, celebrations were going on at home till late night but in the morning when their son went to work, daughter-in-law Preeti went missing.
Daughter-in-law cleaned her hands at home
When the owner of the house, Ashok Kumar, investigated, he found that daughter-in-law Preeti had run away with Rs 1.5 lakh in cash and jewellery. Police said in this case that the family informed Manju who assured them that she would try to contact Preeti. But when Ashok Kumar contacted Manju’s partner, he started threatening to kill him.
Police engaged in investigation of the case
A senior police officer said an FIR was lodged against Preeti, Manju and another person at Bilaspur police station on Sunday. The investigation of the case is going on and the accused will be arrested soon.
