ACS Radha Raturi took a meeting regarding the formation of State Industrial Security Force (SISF) in Uttarakhand
Additional Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi met Home Guards, various industrial institutions, bank officials, SIDCUL, Civil Aviation Department in the Secretariat regarding making an action plan for the formation of State Industrial Security Force (SISF) in Uttarakhand on the lines of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). And took a meeting of Home Department officials.
ACS Mrs. Radha Raturi has given instructions to immediately send the information related to the supply of security forces to all the banks, airports, helipads, industrial institutions, SIDCUL, state and central government undertakings and commercial establishments located in the state to the Home Department. He said that the Honorable Chief Minister has given instructions to form State Industrial Security Force (SISF) in the state on the lines of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). For this, it is necessary to collect accurate data about the number of security forces required for the security of currency chests of banks in the state and security of airports, helipads, industrial institutions, SIDCUL, state and central government undertakings and business establishments. ACS said that there is an urgent need for a responsible and sensitive security force for tight security of banks, industrial establishments, helipads and government undertakings in the state.
In the meeting, the rationale for giving the work of SISF to Uttarakhand Home Guards Department was also discussed in detail. ACS has instructed the concerned officials to study the proposal of Uttarakhand Home Guards.
On this occasion, Secretary Dilip Jawalkar, Additional Secretary C Ravi Shankar, Special Secretary Home Mrs. Riddhim Aggarwal, Mrs. Vimmi Sachdeva and officials of Uttarakhand Home Guards Department, SIDCUL, Civil Aviation Department, Home Department, various industrial institutions and banks were present.
