Uttarakhand: CM Dhami’s gift to students, food allowance doubled, Education Secretary issued orders
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given a big gift to the students living in residential hostels of the state. On the instructions of Chief Minister Dhami, the food allowance of the students living in these residential hostels has been doubled. This is also the highest increase in food allowance so far.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has a special attachment to children. Often whenever he visits any school or residential school campus, he is seen spending light moments with the children. Recently, Chief Minister Dhami had also celebrated his birthday especially among the children in the residential hostel located in Baniawala. The Chief Minister has also instructed the officials of the state education department to take special care of the children studying in these residential schools.
Now the Chief Minister has done the work of giving gifts to all the students studying in Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls Hostel, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Hostel and Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya MLA of the state. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the daily food allowances of children studying in these residential schools have been increased at the historic double rate. An amount of Rs 150 per day has been approved for students for daily food.
Orders in this regard have been issued today by Education Secretary Ravinath Raman. Director General School Education Vanshidhar Tiwari has informed that this increase has been made in the food allowance item for the students registered in the hostels of Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls Hostel, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Hostel and Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya. In this regard, letters have been issued to the officials of all the districts.
