Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Vishwa Hindu Parishad Matrishakti Durga Vahini celebrated Durga Ashtami giving the message that women are strong and not weak.

Durga Ashtami program was organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad Matrishakti Durga Vahini today, Saturday, 21-10-2023, in the courtyard of Arya Kanya Gurukul Rajpur Road. Social worker Mrs. Rashmi Rawat Tyagi was addressed as the main speaker in this program. The program was presided over by Mrs. Sadhna Jayaraj. Principal of Arya Samaj Kanya Gurukul, Santosh Ji Vidyalankar was present as a special guest in the program. The keynote speaker, Mrs. Rashmi Rawat Tyagi, threw light on various topics of status of women in today’s society and becoming self-reliant in the program. Matrishakti Department Convenor Mrs. Preeti Shukla Durga Vahini Department Convenor Bhavna Thakur District Co-convenor Kumari Deepali Shukla Lata Sharma ji Regional Convenor Full Time Service Bharti Seema Bansal ji Department Convenor Dharma Jagran Durga Vahini Block Convenor Akansa Matrishakti Block Convenor Sadhana were present.

Durga Vahini Department Coordinator Kumari Bhavna Thakur said that Durga Vahini was established to increase the spirit of service, safety and values among the sisters. Today Durga Vahini is working among the sisters through service, safety and values across India. Once a year, Durga Vahini organizes a seven-day training class to educate the sisters. The program was conducted by District Co-Coordinator Durga Vahini Kumari Deepali Shukla.
