Israeli army now conducts air strike in Lebanon, releases video

The Israeli army claimed to have destroyed some terrorist bases in Lebanon. The IDF claimed that it has targeted a terrorist base in Lebanon planning a missile attack on an Israeli city. According to the IDF, it has destroyed a terrorist base in southern Lebanon.  The base was attacked which was planning to execute an anti-tank guided missile attack against the northern community of Avivim.

IDF has also released a video of the strike on the terrorists’ hideout.  In fact, since the start of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7, the Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist group has been carrying out missile attacks on IDF bases in northern Israel and Israeli cities.

Meanwhile, an IDF spokesman has confirmed that Hamas’s deputy commander has also been killed in an Israeli strike in the Gaza Strip.

Israel’s challenge to Lebanon

Earlier, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had said that Hezbollah’s increasing attacks posed a threat of “dragging Lebanon into war”.  According to the IDF, the possibility of a wider conflict has increased after renewed firing from across the border.  IDF spokesman Jonathan Conricus warned, “Hezbollah… is dragging Lebanon into a war from which it will gain nothing and lose much.”

Jonathan Conricus said, ‘They are making the situation worse.  Hezbollah is playing a very dangerous game.  They are making the situation worse.  We are seeing more and more attacks every day.  He questioned Lebanon, saying, ‘Are the Lebanese really ready to risk Lebanese prosperity and what remains of Lebanese sovereignty for the sake of terrorists in Gaza?  This is a question the Lebanese authorities need to ask and answer themselves.
