Bangladesh Train Collision: Major accident in Bangladesh, two trains collided, many passengers died

A horrific train accident occurred on Monday (23 October) near the capital of Bangladesh. In which two trains collided with each other. 15 people died and many others were injured in this accident. According to the Dhaka Tribune report, the accident occurred in the afternoon at Bhairab in Kishoreganj, when a goods train collided with a passenger train. There is a fear that the number of deaths and injured in the accident may increase further.

According to local police, the accident happened in Bhairab, about 80 kilometers (50 miles) from the capital Dhaka. Local police officer Sirajul Islam said that the death toll may increase as relief operations are underway. According to the report, eyewitnesses said that many people were trapped under the train. Many injured people were lying under the damaged coaches. However, fire service personnel have reached the spot and rescue operations have been started.

According to the report, relief and rescue work is currently going on. The injured have been taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. According to the report, local people are also helping in evacuating the injured. Dhaka Railway Police Superintendent Anwar Hossain said preliminary reports said the goods train crashed into Egaro Sindhur from behind, causing two coaches to collide.
