Uttar Pradesh / Agra: Businessman’s son recovered from car trunk, driver was kidnapping him, demanded ransom of Rs 1 crore

In Agra, UP, police have recovered a boy from kidnappers on Yamuna Expressway. The boy was kidnapped for a ransom of Rs 1 crore. The kidnappers were taking him to Mainpuri in the trunk of the car. Then after receiving the information the police checked and the kidnappers started driving away the car. But the police showed promptness and caught them.

Actually, the 18-year-old boy Ishant Agarwal who was kidnapped is the son of Faridabad-based furniture businessman Ashish Agarwal. Ashish Aggarwal told that his only son Ishant had come home on leave. On Tuesday he had to go to Noida to meet his cousins.

Instead of Noida, the driver went on the expressway

For this Ashish called his driver Akash Yadav. Akash is a resident of Mainpuri. Driver Akash Yadav took Ishant from home around 10 in the morning. He had to go to Sector 44 of Noida. Where Ishant’s relative Paras Gupta lives. But even after a long time he did not reach there.

When Ishant’s father called on his son’s mobile, it was switched off. Then he dialed the driver’s number and his number also did not appear. Here, Paras Gupta was also trying the phone. Meanwhile, a message came on Ashish Aggarwal’s mobile regarding deduction of toll money from the fast tag installed in the car. This message was toll of Yamuna Expressway. As soon as Ishant’s family saw the message, it did not take long for them to understand the matter.

Agra Police became active as soon as the information was received

Paras Gupta and Ashish Aggarwal immediately informed the police. As soon as the news of kidnapping was received, Agra Police became active. Check posts around the toll plaza were alerted. According to the FASTag location of the car, it was crossing Mathura. When the police started checking the vehicles by blocking the route, a suspicious vehicle was seen. When stopped, the driver tried to run away but the police caught him. When the car was searched, Ishant Agarwal was recovered from the trunk. After this the police arrested the driver Akash Yadav and his partner Ashish Yadav. A pistol and 315 bore cartridge were also recovered from them. Both the accused confessed that they had kidnapped Ishant to extort Rs 1 crore.

Police gave complete information

ACP Etmadpur Saurabh Singh said that Paras Gupta, resident of Noida had called Khandauli police station and informed that his nephew Ishant Aggarwal (18) has been kidnapped by his driver Akash Yadav. After kidnapping him, they are taking him towards Yamuna Expressway. Immediately on receiving the information, SHO Khandauli Neeraj Mishra and outpost incharge RP Singh along with the entire team started intensive checking on the expressway toll.

After about 30 minutes, the said car was seen coming from Noida. When the kidnappers saw the intensive checking by the police, they accelerated the car. After a lot of efforts, when the police stopped the car and opened its trunk, Ishant Agarwal was found scared but safe.

The police took both the kidnappers into custody. Then Haryana Police and his family were informed about Ishant’s recovery. Late night, Surajkund police station of Faridabad and Ishant’s family came to Khandauli police station. After completing the government paperwork, Ishant left with his family. At the same time, Surajkund police station has taken the car with itself.

After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
